for the sushi
1 cup brown rice
2 cups cold water
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
4 carrots, peeled and cut into long strips
3 sheets toasted nori
soy sauce
pickled ginger
wasabi

for the mold
4 x 10″ piece of cardboard
2 strong rubber bands
large chopstick
