Loaded Potato Soup

Before a meal there are a few things better than a hearty soup, and there are few more hearty soups then a loaded potato soup. Another time when a Loaded Potato Soup is amazing is during the winter months, when its cold and you want something that warm and filling. Loaded Potato Soup
Ingredients
3-4 russet potatoes, cubed
5 c. low-sodium chicken broth
½ c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ c. cheddar cheese, grated
6 slices bacon, cooked and broken into pieces
2 green onions, diced
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. ground black pepper
pinch of cayenne pepper

Toppings:
1 green onion, diced
Additional bacon bits
Dollops of sour cream
Grated cheddar –
