slices bacon
- 1 lb.
Brussels sprouts, blanched 10 min. and cut into quarters
- 1 c.
shredded Swiss cheese, divided
- 3/4 c.
heavy (whipping) cream

- Step 1Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Step 2Place skillet over medium-high heat and cook bacon until crisp, about 6 min.
- Step 3Reserve 1 Tbsp bacon fat to grease casserole dish and roughly chop cooked bacon.
- Step 4Lightly oil casserole dish with reserved bacon fat and set aside.
- Step 5In medium bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with chopped bacon and 1/2 cup cheese and transfer mixture to casserole dish.
- Step 6Pour heavy cream over Brussels sprouts and top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
- Step 7Bake until cheese is melted and lightly browned and vegetables are heated through, about 20 min. Serve.
