Keto Vanilla-Nutmeg “Oatmeal”

Looking for a warm breakfast? You’ve found it! This oatmeal is made with chia seeds and brings the sweetness of vanilla and nutmeg. It’s super easy to prepare and if you want a thicker texture, you can soak the chia seeds in the heavy cream overnight.

    water
    warm

    Tbsp
    chia seeds
  • 1/2
    cup
    heavy cream
  • 1
    tsp
    stevia
  • 1
    tsp
    coconut flakes
  • 1/2
    oz
    almonds
  • 1/4
    tsp
    natural vanilla extract
  • 1
    pinch
    cocoa powder
  • 1
    pinch
    nutmeg

  1. Combine chia, heavy cream, water, vanilla and nutmeg in a saucepan.

  2. Cook over low heat until thickened. 

  3. Turn off heat and add stevia, coconut and almonds.

  4. Decorate with cocoa powder.
