Best Potato Salad | Christmas recipes


  • 3 potatoes
  • 5 eggs
  • 10.6 ounces boiled sausage or ham
  • 17.6 ounces salted or pickled cucumbers
  • 1 onion
  • 18.25 ounces canned green peas
  • 1 carrot
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 olive
  • 15 ounces mayonnaise


  1. Salad
  2. Bring water to boil, add potatoes and cook them until soft about 30 minutes.
  3. Make eggs hard-boiled.
  4. Cut a sausage, cucumbers, onion, boiled potatoes and 2 eggs into cubes.
  5. Combine all ingredients in the large bowl, add mayonnaise and mix well.
  6. Salad Decoration
  7. Use remaining 3 eggs for salad decoration.
  8. Separate yolk from white.
  9. Grate whites, yolks and carrot separately.
  10. Place salad on a large plate and shape a Santa Clause's face.
  11. Decorate the middle part of the face with yolk (face), the top part with carrot (hat) and the bottom part with egg white (beard).
  12. Put 1 cherry tomato as a nose and another one as a hat decoration.
  13. Cut the olive into halves and use them as eyes.
