There are few things better tasting then a Buttery Croissant. A croissant is perfect pastry to enjoy with a little butter and some coffee or orange juice. The Buttery Croissant Cooking ingredients are listed below.
For the dough:
4 cups all-purpose flour, and a little more for dusting/ rolling out dough
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp cold water
1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp cold milk (I used 2%)
1/4 cup granulated sugar
40gm soft unsalted butter
1 tbsp plus scant 1/2 tsp instant yeast
2 tsp salt
For the butter layer:
250 gm cold unsalted butter
1/4 cup of cold milk (or 1/8 cup of cream + 1/8 cup cream) to brush the dough
Or 1 egg for egg wash
